Artists Ella Finer and Alex Hetherington hold an event exploring and discussing Georgina Starr’s exhibition ‘Before Le Cerveau Affamé’, and the use of voice within it, at the Cooper Gallery in the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design.
Ella Finer is a writer, artist and lecturer whose practice in theatre, photography and sound explores the relationship of the gendered body and voice. Her performance and installation work often composes the live and the recorded together, pulling her focus to how politics of audibility and visibility interact.
Alex Hetherington is an artist who works under the name of the Modern Edinburgh Film School, producing pieces in film, text and sculpture. His works explore ideas on poetic form and film.
